Samsung launched its Bespoke AI washer and dryer combo last year. The machine combines a washer and a dryer with cutting-edge features backed by AI. It became an instant hit in the company's home country of South Korea.
The company has since launched Bespoke AI in other markets across the globe, including the crucial market of the United States. These appliances continue to do very well in South Korea, where more than 100,000 units have been sold over the past year alone.
Samsung Electronics has revealed that total sales of the Bespoke AI laundry combo has surpassed 100,000 units within a year of its launch in South Korea. Since its launch, the company has sold 230 units per day, with the initial rush seeing 1,000 units being sold in under three days and over 3,000 units in 12 days.
The company is expanding on the success of this appliance with the 2025 model Bespoke AI combo lineup. The new model has increased the minimum drying capacity without increasing the product's outer dimensions, a more dense heat exchanger, and increased power efficiency.
The AI Opti Wash and Dry is a standout feature of this product. It can detect both fabrics and soil levels to adjust settings and deliver a better wash and dry experience on its own.
This is as premium as it gets for a product in this category. Pricing for the Bespoke AI laundry combo starts at 3,899,000 Korean won which is around $2,600. Yet, the stellar sales performance indicates that the company sees strong demand for the product in its home market.
