The One UI 8 Beta Program is finally live in the USA. If you are a Galaxy S24 series user, you can enrol into the program and register your phone to start beta-testing the first One UI 8 beta update. The Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 haven't received the One UI 8 beta update in the country yet.
The Android 16-based One UI 8.0 beta update is now available for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra in the USA. The update comes bearing firmware version S92xU1UEU4ZYH3 and has a download size of around 3.25GB. It also includes the August 2025 security patch for the phones.
If you still haven't joined the One UI 8 Beta Program, you can do that by installing the Samsung Members app from the Galaxy Store or the Google Play Store. Once the app is installed, log into it using the same Samsung Account you used for setting up your Galaxy S24 series phone. Then, tap the One UI 8 Beta Program banner on the app's home page.
Once the registration is complete, head over to Settings » Software update » Download and install, and then tap the Install now button once the update is finished downloading. Your Galaxy S24 series phone will then restart after a few minutes, and you can start using the beta version of One UI 8.0.

We don't recommend installing this update if your Galaxy S24 series phone is your primary device, as the beta software usually has a lot of bugs and issues, and it is only meant for testing purposes. Make sure to send feedback to Samsung about the bugs and performance issues you encounter.
